Windschief: Oldest Beach Bar in Hopkins. Known for their Fish-N-Chips and Rum Punch. They own sea to street, and also have the Mini-Golf. Wednesdays are all you can play golf and three drinks for $6US/$12BZ. Monday Trivia night with a cash prize. Tuesday Tapas (Belize snacks and made for two people to share.) Friday dancing. Saturday Funday. Open at 4pm. Closed Thursday and Sunday’s.

Peer’s Place: The Pork Chop is the best we’ve ever served with a huge portion of fried potatoes and onions. One of the best breakfast spots, the Lazy Hash Browns are a favorite. Insider Tip: Order the off-menu item the Farmers Omlet. Nice sandwiches and salads for lunch. Kitchen Closes at 8pm, so order by 7ish. Open Daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner: 8pm to 8pm.

Thong’s: A European Café right here in Hopkins. Best Brunch Spot. Bloody Mary with Bacon. Favorites are Huevos Rancheros, Eggplant Parmesan, and Special of Day is usually a treat too. Spritzers and Smoothies. Closed Wednesday & Thursday. 8am to 3pm.

Tugusina Garifuna. The name means “Garifuna Kitchen” in Garifuna language. Raquel and her team make local Garifuna and Belize dishes, such as stew chicken, Hudut, Bundiga, and Fry Fish for a good price. She also offers cultural cooking lessons for $75US that are about two to three hours. Open for breakfast and lunch. Closed on Sunday’s.

Semeti Giffiti. Local Garifuna dishes. It’s common to see Garifuna drumming while dining here as this spot has a good vibe. Boom Boom may even play the conch horn for guests. Open daily lunch to ?

Mel’s Dine by the Sea. Best Fish Panades and Ceviche in the Village. Currently not serving entrees as the owners are coming up with a plan after their place burned down. Diners order the panades by how many dollars’ worth they want. $2 would get you two fish panades.

Queen Bean. Arguably the best stuffed fry jack. Other menu highlights are the fried chicken and pancake. To eat, tear off chicken and use the pancake as a burrito. This is Queen Bean’s version of chicken and waffles. Quesadilla and Burritos are nice. Pasta dishes are large and flavorful. Closed on Tuesday’s.

JJ’s Cool Spot. Next door to Queen Bean. Serve stew chicken, beef, and pork. Specials too. You may see an intense game of domino’s being played. If you haven’t seen a domino game in action, it’s worth going over for a refreshment.

Fred’s Lime Tree. Relaxing Beach Bar. If you are wanting some vegetables or wanting a lighter option than heavy foods, such as stew chicken, this is a good option. A unique Quesadilla with tomatoes and lots of lettuce piled on top. Specials such as the chicken shawarmas are top notch. Vegetarian and Vegan options. Also, they carry and make local chocolate. Open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday 11am to 8pm.

H2V. Laid back Beach Bar on far south of village. Burger and Stuffed Fry Jacks.

Siomara’s. Fry jacks, beans, and eggs.  Best Juices in the Village. Watermelon and Cantaloupe are popular. Wide variety of lunch items. Open 8am to 2pm Daily. Closed on Sunday's.

Culture Vibes. Lobster (in season), Jerk Chicken, Curries, and Seafood. Tuesday-Sunday 11am to 10pm. Cocktail & Ceviche Happy hour Wednesday & Friday 6pm to 8pm, local drinks $7,Margaritas $10 and Ceviches half price $14

Kat’s Coffee. Nice Coffee and Breakfast Spot. Favorites are the waffle sandwich and quiche.
